About Design Resource

Carol Friedman has been in business as Design Resource in the Boston, MA area since 1986. Initially, Carol worked out of her home office in Harvard, Massachusetts until the business grew, demanding more space and more employees.

In 1999, the company relocated to a large "loft" space in Concord, MA a suburb of Boston, MA. The studio is a generous space filled with color and materials representing Carol's unique design sensibilities. A custom workroom is on site as well which allows Carol direct access to the fabrication of window treatments, slipcovers, and other custom items.

Carol is most interested in listening to and satisfying her client's needs. She thrives on a vibrant partnership with her clients as well as her design team. The energy and team effort is all part of what makes the design process so rewarding.
